A) Build the production’s plan and shipment’s plan.
- Received job sheets (production sheets) from merchandise team, check carefully the information (artwork style, quantity, requires shipment day, customer)
- Make Digital Machine Plan based on Production Capacity & Shipment date requested from customer by co-operate with Graphic/Digital/Colorist/Production Team to ensure printing artworks are set on suitable machine.
- Base on the production status, cooperate with the sales & merchandise team for the suitable shipment day.
- Inform warehouse and shipment deparment about the shipment day to prepare (book truck, make PKL...)
- Update the delivery file for easily checking.
B) Ensure the production stick to the plan.
1. Checking the production (digital quantity and transfer quantity) status if it stick to the plan or not.
2. If there any problem, follow up and cooperation with the production team/colorist/graphic team to have the appropriate settlement method and adjust the plan to suitable with the actual status. Re-Cooperate with the sales & merchandise team for the solution if the problem affect shipment day
C) Calculate the materials needed and order materials on time.
1. Weekly checking the material stock with warehouse.
2. Base on the job on hand (in queue for production) of the 2 following week, calculate the material needed for production to ensure all the production can run smoothy.
3. Base on the production’s forecast of next month (received from sales team) to estimate the needed material to place order on time.
D) Sourcing, development for a better supplier.
Countinuos looking for the new supplier who can ensure the quality with the better price to reduce the cost.
