Rate/Quotation Management: Prepare and manage quotations for sea freight services, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Manage cost rate for each shipment.
Cost Analysis: Analyze costs associated with sea freight services to maintain profitable margins while remaining competitive in the market.
Space Allocation: Request and ensure the best space and rates for company orders to optimize operations.
Support Functions: Assist the customer service team with space allocation and support the invoicing team in checking and correcting prices.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping agents to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Market Monitoring: Regularly update and analyze market prices for the assigned areas to stay competitive.
Market Forecasting: Anticipate market trends and secure backup space as needed to meet demand.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on pricing activities, market trends, and performance metrics for management review.
Job Requirement

Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in pricing or a related role in the sea freight forwarding industry
Familiarity with sea freight carriers and pricing structures
Experience with pricing and tender management systems is a plus
Good understanding of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
