ROLE

Ensure optimal spatial arrangements and user experience. The Product Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas from concept to reality, contributing to the enhancement of our product lines and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Concept Development and Innovation

- Develop innovative design concepts for windows, doors, and furniture that align with market trends, brand identity, and user needs.

- Incorporate sustainable design practices and materials into product development.

- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques.

Technical Design and Prototyping

- Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design intent accurately.

- Ensure designs meet functional, ergonomic, safety, and regulatory requirements.

- Utilize layout design skills to create spatial arrangements that optimize user experience and functionality.

Collaboration

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and manufacturing personnel, to translate design concepts into viable products.

- Collaborate with suppliers to source appropriate materials and components for designs.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide design inputs for promotional materials and product presentations.

Communication and Product Catalogue Design

- Design product catalogues that showcase the range of windows, doors, and furniture designs, highlighting features, benefits, and visual appeal.

- Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and design reviews.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate design elements into promotional materials and presentations.

- Participate in user testing and feedback collection to iterate and improve designs.

Continuous Improvement and Professional Growth

- Stay current with advancements in design software and tools, implementing them as appropriate to enhance design processes.

- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

- Assist in creating design guidelines and standards for consistent product aesthetics.

- Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to gather inspiration and network with peers.

Background

-      Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field

-      1-2 years of proven experience in product design, showcasing a robust portfolio featuring window, door, and furniture designs

Skills and Knowledge

-      Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, 3ds Max, etc

-      Expertise in layout design and spatial planning to craft optimal user experiences

-      Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety requisites.

-      Strong comprehension of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques

-      Exceptional creative and critical thinking capabilities, with a keen aesthetic sense.

-      Effective communication and teamwork aptitude for seamless cross-functional collaboration.

-      Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving design demands.

-      Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.

-      Enthusiasm for staying current with design trends, materials, and technological advancements.

-      Additional experience in 3D printing and prototyping techniques is a valuable asset
