The Project Manager’s responsibilities are project specific and should be specified in agreement betweenthe Client and RTV E&C. The following are typical scope of services and responsibilities of a ProjectManager:
- Project Manual & Implementation.
– Custom for project specific.
- Design Review & Monitoring.
- Separate Contracts Planning and Interfacing.
- Assemble tender documentation and addenda for contract packages.
- Assemble construction contract documentation - Assist in Soliciting Tenders.
- Manage the Submittal Process - Administer construction contracts during the construction phase.
- Prepare payment certificates in conjunction with cost consultant.
- Prepare change orders (variation orders).
- Evaluating and recommending on Contract Changes and Claims.
- Recommendations regarding Quality Assurance and Quality Control Program.
- Recommendations regarding Project Safety Program.
- Transmit all design drawings, specifications and all other related documents to contractors.
- Construction Monitoring.
- Project Reporting.
- Procedures & Formats.
- Schedule Control Tools and Monitoring Tools.
- Assistance in the Cost Control and Management.
- Managing the handover of the completed Project.
- PM is responsible for identifying and mitigating tiny design “gaps” or “overlaps” between services provided by International Design Consultants and Local Design Consultants.
