To meet the requirements of the Company's departments regarding the procurement of goods, equipment, materials, machinery, and services, with the goal of ensuring the stable operation of the system within the framework of regulations, standards for goods and suppliers, economic laws, commercial laws, Saint-Gobain Group's regulations, and the responsibilities of the Purchasing Department.

• Procurement of materials, equipment, and machinery parts for the Saint-Gobain & Hiệp Phú plant

  • Search, select, and propose quality suppliers with reasonable prices and payment terms.
  • Evaluate suppliers and develop strategic suppliers.
  • Check documents and procedures to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Implement cost-saving measures for procurement.
  • Proactively propose solutions to reduce purchasing costs.
  • Control costs based on the approved budget.
  • Implement processes and applications as required by the group.

• Centralize common product groups for nationwide plants within the assigned scope

  • Analyze statistics to identify product groups that can be centralized.
  • Propose and plan implementation.
  • Coordinate with site buyers to implement.

• Monthly reporting and other procurement-related tasks

  • Monthly savings reports.
  • Monitor and manage contracts to ensure services/goods are tendered and presented for new price approvals before expiration.
  • Periodically evaluate supplier performance.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by superiors.

• Education: University degree or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 3 years in MRO procurement for plants.
• Technical Competencies: Knowledge of MRO.
• Skills & Abilities: Negotiation, supplier development, persuasion, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Characteristics: Honest, willing to learn, and receptive.
