Job Description

Ensure products meet quality standards and meet production schedule. Responsible for managing & improving supplier quality.

Maintain and continuously improve the company's quality management system.

Manage, assign, and arrange work for employees in the QA/QC Quality Management of UPH and Cut and sew department within an assigned facility in such a manner that fosters teamwork while increasing productivity and efficiency.

  • Build and monitor the quality management system.
  • Direct activities of QC employees to meet production schedule and products quality.
  • Guarantee that the QC employees must comply with quality inspection procedures and company regulations.
  • Interact with other department to ensure quality goals are met.
  • Control defect rate for UPH and Cut & Sew department
  • Responsible for the pilot run quality review.
  • Deal with customer complain, responsible for receiving information and responding to customer complaints about product quality.
  • Record and resolve daily incidents and errors and answer questions about product quality between departments.
  • Conduct periodic quality assessments.
  • Guarantee the quality standards established and followed.
  • Review new samples with the TAT department and production manager to ensure the quality of inline products matches the samples.
  • Keep management informed about eventual deviations.
  • Approve and monitor test reports, prepare other periodic reports weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly.
  • Be responsible to keep working area tidy and implement 6S strictly.
  • Assessment for all subordinates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

  • Knowledge:

·       Knowledge of using quality tools.

·       Knowledge of Statistical control.

·       Lean Manufacturing Concepts.

·       Knowledge of using office software.

·       Knowledge of managing people.

·       English communication.

·       Speaking Chinese is an advantage.

  • Skills:

·       Good communication.

·       Problem resolution capacity.

·       Capacity and willing to train people.

·       Excellent decision-making and follow-through skills.

·       Skilled in prioritizing multiple directives within changing work demands.

·       Manage the time in order to accomplish the established goals.

·       Able to work in a team and motivate people.

·       Skill of organization and management.

  • Experience:

·       Minimum of 5 years work experience as QC assistant Manager at furniture company or Sewing company.

·       College or University graduate preferred.
