Job Description

1. Territory Management and Prospecting:

· Manage a designated sales territory, prioritizing high-potential prospects and accounts.

· Conduct regular prospecting activities, including cold calling, door-to-door visits, and networking events.

· Utilize market research and industry knowledge to identify key decision-makers and influencers.

2. Client Engagement and Relationship Building:

· Build strong relationships with prospects and clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored logistics solutions.

· Conduct onsite visits and facility tours to assess client requirements and propose customized service offerings.

· Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on logistics best practices and value-added services.

3. Sales Strategy Execution:

· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

· Deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of our services.

· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable agreements and meet customer expectations.

4. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:

· Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities within your territory.

· Gather intelligence on customer needs, preferences, and pain points to refine sales strategies and offerings.

· Provide feedback to internal teams on market insights and competitive positioning.

5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.

· Monitor sales performance against targets and KPIs, adjusting action plan as needed to drive results.

· Prepare regular reports and updates for sales management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

Job Requirement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Maritime, Business or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in field sales or business development, preferably in the logistics or transportation sector.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a knack for influencing decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
