1. Co-ordinate with relevant departments, obtaining the necessary information / statistics and preparing the production plan / sub contracting plans in order to ensure a smooth production process whilst meeting external/internal customer requirements.
2. Monitoring production progress and identifying variances against the production / Capacity plans and providing information / recommending options to the management to facilitate management decision making.
3. Highlighting areas of concern to the business through capacity forecasting and reporting to facilitate management decision making.
4. Optimizing production capacity through efficient and effective utilization of the planning tool in order to maximize production.
5. Reviewing progress of the production plan through conducting meetings and coordinating with relevant departments in order to highlight the areas that concern the business.
6. Overlooking relevant production modules to ensure continuous production work flow.
7. Ensuring that SAP transactions are updated and the technical completion of production orders in order to facilitate consumption, costing, wastage and order reconciliation calculations by the Finance Department.
8. Performing additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the management.
