- Promote and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures
- Act as the primary interface manager between project operations teams and the procurement department to manage the flow of information and coordinate all necessary procurement activities for the project operations teams
- Review, analyze and monitor assigned supplier/subcontractor capabilities, quotes, and performance
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly tactical and strategic activities to insure the timely and efficient management of assigned materials and services
- Research, analyze, configure, and draw informed data driven conclusions from procurement data in support of department and company KPI’s
- Lead, manage, coach and mentor direct reports or others within the department
- Monitor purchase orders and assist in the preparation and management of change orders with vendors and subcontractors
- Facilitate the timely resolution of issues between project operations teams and the procurement department with suppliers related to price, quality, delivery, condition, etc.
- Work closely with the legal team and other procurement team members to facilitate contractual negotiations including terms, conditions, and price
- Monitor, update, and improve systems, processes, and documents used to perform procurement activities
- Attend meetings and facilitate discussions with project operations teams, external clients, and external suppliers to promote strong communication and alignment of expectations and results
- Create, update, communicate and present procurement data and recommendations at applicable meetings
- Develop and maintain expertise on assigned products and services
- Maintain and communicate knowledge of market conditions and industry activity that may impact business
- Research and evaluate new sources for assigned products and services
