In the role of IT Technical Support
An IT Technician is a professional who is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hardware & software components of the organization's computers. Their duties may include repairing or replacing damaged hardware, performing tests on new hardware or software, installing new equipment and logging its resolution.
Responsibility Areas
- Monitor, configure, troubleshoot LAN/WAN systems and network devices (switches, routers, firewalls...).
- Deploying and administering Server, Domain Controller, Antivirus systems.
- Perform virtualization of VMWare and Windows servers.
- Deploy and manage online meeting system.
- Deploying and managing the system of switchboards, surveillance cameras, timekeepers, door control.
- Management of sales software, accounting software and other software of the company.
- Manage and purchase IT equipment according to user requirements.
- Ensure data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
- Ensure smooth connection between servers.
- Research and propose new methods to improve computer network systems, processes, IT policies.
- Stay up to date with information and keep abreast of technology trends and developments.
