Job Summary:

The duty is Essentially overseeing the shipping and delivery of materials. Supervisors also manage inventory and maintain communications with carriers, transporters, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of good, coordinate with other departments for company Business running smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems.
• Manage daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
• Corporate with Planning, Procurement and Delivery team to coordinate goods between warehouses and ensure that the right products arrive where they need to be at the right time.
• Coordinate and ensure proper loading and unloading of all trucks.
• Tracking the progress of shipments.
• Ensuring that procedures are completed in accordance with established Logistics and Warehouse processes including 3PLs.
• Coordinate with direct reports to review all inventory needs and stock inventory including 3PLs.
• Keep control the service-delivery of transportation agencies.
• Analyze the cost effectiveness of using one transportation company over another or investigate to find new transporters.
• Spot problems and eliminate inefficient processes in the chain.
• Observe employee’s performance and trains in proper processes and standards.
• Set the overall logistics plan, giving employees tasks, timelines and checklists to ensure the supply chain flows smoothly.
• Ensures that all employees are aware of their job duties and are cross trained in any capacity that is necessary to aide in development and growth of staff.
• Enforces safety guidelines and rules and all company policies within delivery area.

Job Requirement/Specification:

Education        :           Relevant Bachelors (Business Administration/ Foreign Trade/ Im –Export)

Experience       :           3-5 years of working experience within Logistics & Sales Delivery.

                                        Working experience in the chemicals industry/ distribution and logistics is an advantage.

                                      Ability to envision and execute strategies and projects.

                                      Strong persuasion and presentation skills.

                                      Strong organizational, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
