  • Range of Responsibilities and authorities:

Summary

-Supervision and coordination of production rearrangement process within SV1 and Hi-tech. T

-He assignment encompasses various line movements, between manufacturing premises in SV1 and Hi-tech, and additional capacity installation following Sonion’s BCP (Business Contingency Planning) strategy.

-Aligning/sharing transfer details with involved parties at releasing and receiving side.

-Coordinates activities ensuring seamless and timely transfer execution.

-This includes production floor availability, facility preparedness etc.

-Providing leadership and guidance production wide on improvements through training, coaching, execution and promotion of LEAN methodology, principles, tools… and ensure the sustainment of LEAN achievements across production lines align with CIM’s strategy.

-Initiating and/or participating in the company’s strategic projects or programs which include Automation, MES, Cost take-out and others with responsibility level depending on the task complexity and project scope and duration.

-Responsible for defining KPIs for employees within assigned areas.

-Responsible for manpower improvement and development of Production Department.

-Participating in the KPI setting for the whole production department.

-Being empowered to assign manpower within Production Department to achieve KPIs for the whole department.

Project perspectives

-Assisting project managers in project timeline planning execution and control.

-Sharing production/product specific knowledge. Providing coaching if required/needed.

-Ensuring good coordination/information exchange between all involved parties/departments.

-Aligning with relevant “receiving” manager on required resources at destination site, timeline for responsibility transition and product ramp up.

-Supporting project managers in decision making in case of project issues, roadblocks, or conflicts, which do not need to be escalated to management.

-Escalating projects roadblocks by setting up escalation meetings if necessary.

-Supporting project manager in making the escalation input, presenting optional scenarios aligned with all the project stakeholders.

-Proactively discuss foreseen issues with the project owner.

-Organizing project celebrations in which project success is celebrated and failures are embraced as opportunities to learn.

3. LEAN promotion

-Aligning with CIM and Production groups for annual strategy and goals of Lean programs (5S, Kaizen, CI events).

-Coordinating with CIM to provide guidance, training, and coaching on LEAN methodology, principles, and tools to improve the competence of production staffs.

-Introducing LEAN philosophy and standard; promoting and executing at the production lines.

-Upon request working with process owners and stake holders to plan, develop, initiate, and monitor LEAN projects across multiple functions and/or production groups; and to ensure there are appropriate control mechanisms in place to sustain the changes.

-Identifying the inefficient business areas affecting operational performance. Advising on LEAN tool selection appropriate for identified improvement area/problem.

-Monitoring, motivating, and providing guidance to ensure annual plan execution following improvement suggestions provide by managers/leaders.

-Regularly evaluating results/effectiveness of Lean programs.

4. Operational excellence

-Participating in the initiatives/events/programs such as MES, Automation, Continuous Improvement… to improve the operational and financial performance.

-Scope and involvement level determined during planning or early project stage.

-Collecting and reporting crucial program/project data.

-Ensuring transparent and efficient information flow.

-Gathering necessary information i.e., cost/benefits enable successful program/project kick-off and afterwards execution.

-Suggesting necessary resources and team structure. * Determining achievable project’s goals or milestones.

-Responsible, improving and maintaining high performance of the Supporting Functions and Technical Services groups.

5. Talent Acquisition:

-Coordinating with HR and others to find the targeted employees following the needs of production groups.

-Supervising the recruitment activities and responsible for improving the recruitment process.

-Forecast, building database, and proposing recruiting plan/ method to Hiring managers as well as strategic for talent pipeline.

-Supervising the Employee exit interview process, reporting on its performance, and initiating to provide solutions for improving turnover rate.

6. Learning & Development

-Conducting the assessment of the needs for annual training and development (to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company).

-Developing the training and development programs and objectives.

-Obtaining and developing effective training materials utilizing a variety of media. Maximize training solutions (online, e-learning, etc.).

-Working with managers to build and facilitate the implementation of systematic technical training programs for different production groups.

-Conducting the reaction plan of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

-Taking charge of performance management process. Monitor the success of improvement & development plan for employees.

7. Employee is responsible in proactively receive, search, learn and comply with prevailing law and company regulation which are communicated via internal information channels including broadcasting, email, SBS (Sonion Business System), notice board and electronic notice in every area. This content includes but not limited to ISO on Quality Management, Environment, Occupation Health & Safety, Code of conduct and Corporate Social Responsibility, Labor safety and Fire Prevention and Fighting, Work Rule and Employee Handbook and other internal regulations. * Attending concerned training courses of QMS–ISO 9001, EMS-ISO 14001, OH&SMS-ISO45001 where required.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

At least 4 years experiences in production managerial roles with: 

  1. University Degree in Electronic / Mechanical engineering (perfer Master Degree in Electronic / Mechanical engineering.)
  2. General management of people and finance. G
  3. Good knowledge of production management (practical knowledge of production).
  4. Good at improvement/LEAN programs and tools e.g. 5S, Point Kaizen, Poke yoke, etc.
  5. Understanding of product assembly and infrastructure requirements.
  6. Experience in leading cross functional teams and/or programs.
  7. Fluent in English
