GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

CORSAIR MARINE VIET NAM is an Australian Luxury sailboat builder to supply customers around the world, especially in the USA, Australian, EU and other areas.

We are looking for a highly effective PO handling executive to import multiple categories of technical products to serve for production needs.

Title: Senior Purchasing Executive / Material Import Executive

Category assigned: Engines, foam kits, electrical parts, home appliances, chemicals…

Number of SKU: 1000-2000 (70% oversea, 30% local)

Reporting line: Report to Purchasing Supervisor/ Supply Chain Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Implement the process to issue new purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Follow up delivery and expedite purchase orders to get parts delivered on time as required schedule.
• Arrange for pick up of parts and material under Ex-work delivery term and arrange for payment for POs.
• Check shipping documents such as Inv, PL, BL/AWB and transfer them to the logistic team for implementing the importing process.
• Source alternative parts, suppliers, ensure supply continuity and quality of products if required.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive purchasing price, on time delivery, and improvement on other commercial terms.

REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in material import operation, purchasing operation, managing delivery or logistic operation for importing materials from overseas suppliers for a large number of items (1000-> 2000 material SKUs) for at least five years is critical.
• Good negotiation skills both in English and Vietnamese
• Good skills of Excel
• University, college graduation or the like is required. Supply Chain Certification is a plus.
• Logistic operation or purchasing operation experience
• Can do attitude
• Open minded person  
• Demonstrated ability to learn new things quickly and apply the new things in daily work effectively.
• Familiar with multiple tasks handling.
• Familiarity with working with ERP systems for purchasing functions.

Candidates who have location in Distr 9, Distr 1, Distr 2, Distr 4, Distr 7 or willing to change location to work in District 7 are preferred.
