Monitor customs clearance and local handling service:
- In compliance with the regulations, accept and check the instructions, information, and documents that are required for performing the customs declaration
- Determine and assign a tariff classification, where permitted, based on regulations and customs procedures, to enable duties and taxes (the customs payment) to be calculated
- Confirm documentation required for the appropriate customs procedure • Enter and submit the declaration in the internal and/or external system
- Provide all the information required by the customs authorities: act as an intermediary between the company and the customs authorities
- In the event of an inspection or a physical check of goods, provide the necessary documents and the declaration to the customs clerk
- If required, attend physical inspection carried out by the Customs Authority
- Advise on the implementation of customs compliance rules, particularly FTA’s
- Check and advise cost, quotation if being required

- Follow up assignment of manager
Advise on the internal and external regulations and customs procedures:
- Provide recommendation and advice regarding our positions and/or decisions on customs and formalities for the international movement of goods with customers or internal members of staff
- In the event that a customer rejects our proposed standpoint relating to the customs tariffs, record the rejection, and the final decision of the customer
- Act as a support role for the implementation of new regulations
- Provide support to the front office for customs matters when they qualify prospect and visit customers
