Job Description

Objective of role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead our retail store operations for our luxury jewelry brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including customer service, supply chain management, inventory management, logistics, and overall store profitability. This position will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless store operations and superior customer experience.

Detailed responsibilities/accountabilities

Customer Service:

  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to ensure exceptional customer experience and build customer loyalty.
  • Manage and respond to customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with the store team to provide exceptional customer service that aligns with the brand standards.
  • Ensure a consistent and high level of service delivery across all stores.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Oversee the supply chain management process, including procurement, vendor management, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize inventory loss.
  • Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures that minimize costs and optimize supply chain efficiency.

Overall Store Profitability:

  • Develop and implement store-level operating budgets and KPIs to track and improve store profitability.
  • Monitor store-level financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives that align with the brand values.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective operational policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Passion for the jewelry industry and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience with inventory management and logistics software and tools.
