Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Manager to develop and execute the sales strategy for our portfolio of up to 8 annual events, focusing on ticket sales and event registration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of event sales strategy and experience leveraging a wider team to meet targets. Individuals with a pre-existing sales network, particularly in sports event sales, are highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiate, cultivate, and maintain key corporate/business relationships.
Collaborate with Operations and Marketing teams to manage relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and government authorities.
Provide excellent service to clients and manage relationships professionally and profitably.
Negotiate terms and contracts with key partners.
Communicate progress, feedback, and results internally.
Proof all materials before presenting to sponsors/partners.
Stay informed on industry trends and share with the team.
Evaluate suppliers and recommend changes.
Be proactive about problems and opportunities that may impact events, budgets, sponsors, and partners.
Manage creative, media, and other suppliers.
Support the Project Coordinator to ensure professional execution of tasks.
