Procurement of materials, equipment, and machinery parts for the Saint-Gobain & Hiệp Phú plant
- Search, select, and propose quality suppliers with reasonable prices and payment terms.
- Evaluate suppliers and develop strategic suppliers.
- Check documents and procedures to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Implement cost-saving measures for procurement.
- Proactively propose solutions to reduce purchasing costs.
- Control costs based on the approved budget.
- Implement processes and applications as required by the group.
Centralize common product groups for nationwide plants within the assigned scope
- Analyze statistics to identify product groups that can be centralized.
- Propose and plan implementation.
- Coordinate with site buyers to implement.
Monthly reporting and other procurement-related tasks
- Monthly savings reports.
- Monitor and manage contracts to ensure services/goods are tendered and presented for new price approvals before expiration.
- Periodically evaluate supplier performance.
- Perform other tasks as directed by superiors.
